AWAKENING

A deep strategy, science fiction themed board game with worker placement and deck building mechanics.

The world has become a society of clones, divided in types (A, B, C) with specific skills which are all created in cloning labs and behave in the same way. This happens because the ruling elite has convinced them that all humans behave in the same way and must take a specific pill, provided by the government. This pill makes them emotionally numb and has taken away any feeling and the ability to dream. Some clones may malfunction and stop taking the pills, and may start questioning the whole system. Each player is an "awakened" clone citizen, who has just realized that we are not the same, in the end.
